Ironically, I went to the Vineyard today and Tywana stayed home. Mark was preaching and I wanted to go hear him. Tywana had had two late nights (Brownie sleepover at some church with Shayna on Friday) and the dinner at Pappadeaux's on Saturday.
The family went to Nexus with me after the Vineyard. Tywana's getting more comfortable with it. Gregg spoke on being accepting of all types of relationships (read homosexual). Tywana would have had a real problem with this message a few months ago. But, now, not so much.

Wow, I'm really intrigued...is there someplace I can read more about Nexus? Sounds really interesting.
Nexus is a United Church of Christ church. My understanding is not all are "open and affirming". But, Nexus is. It's a start up church. VERY, VERY small right now. I think attendance is around 30 on Sunday morning.
