Mike gave me the idea to try a Cedar Plank Smoked Salmon. This was so good. I bought the planks at Kroger and got a 2 pound hunk of salmon. I made a marinade with Jack Daniels (well, we had Old Forrester on hand), barbecue sauce, brown sugar and orange juice. 20 minutes on the grill and this was as tasty as any salmon I've had in any restaurant.
I didn't notice until I uploaded the picture that the picture actually caught some of the smoke wafting up from the plank. Makes my mouth water all over again.
